Citizen Kane's Non-Linear Structure

I thought it was pretty interesting from all the different perspectives.  At first it may have been confusing for some but to me you just had to keep in mind that not everything is in a preset order.  The advantages to a non-linear structure are that it was not so cut-and-dry as linear movies so you can not immediately tell what is happening next.  Another advantage is that the director and tell many different things at separate points that may or may not have anything to do with each other in that period of time.  The disadvantages to a non-linear structure are: that it may be too confusing for some viewers, there could not be enough story being told and it could be harder to follow what is currently happening on the screen.

I don't agree that it's the greatest movie of all time.  I don't agree because I did not really see a main plot unfolding, rather just a biography of someone else's life.
